A series of traditional tales, graded in a simple way, that should be read alongside a reading scheme to provide extra practice and extent vocabulary.
Each popular story is told in lively language and the series is graded in four levels to encourage children to develop the confidence to read alone.
Reading complexity progresses from patterned, rhythmic nursery tales, about 100-200 words in length, to more substantial traditional stories that prepare children for independent reading.

Level 3
Level 3 is for children who are developing reading confidence and stamina and who are ready to progress to longer stories.
Book and CD packs
The books and CD packs enable children to hear the rhythm, intonation and expression of spoken English.
The range is particularly useful for children learning English as an additional language.
