Sunstart Series

Sunstart is a series which uses the Key Words method of learning to read, featuring characters and stories set in the Caribbean.

The 6 readers use the Key Words vocabulary but introduce a wider range of words at an earlier stage, creating a series ideal for children capable of learning to read more rapidly.

When used alongside the 3 workbooks, the series provides teachers and children with a complete scheme.

Questions about the stories and lists of new words featured at the end of each book allow for further revision of comprehension and vocabulary.

The bright, colourful illustrations on each spread offer clues to the child and support discussion between the adult and the child.
