At school: Growing with Ladybird

Once your child is at school, he will be fully occupied with the business of learning. He may come home with spellings to learn and a book to read each night. You can help your child to build on his pre-school learning by continuing to read stories to him. This will give him a chance to relax while you take the lead. He will still be learning by listening to how the story flows, how characters are built up, and how details give us clues to what will happen next.
