For over 40 years the twins have helped familiarize children with day-to-day life and prepared them for real situations in which they may find themselves. Past titles have dealt with experiences such as trips to the dentist and hospital, going to the park and starting school for the first time.

Re-launched in February 2003, the books now feature updated artwork and exciting new covers to create a fresh and contemporary feel and are now published in the Ladybird mini-hardback format.

The Topsy and Tim titles were written by husband and wife Jean and Gareth Adamson. The first book was published in 1960 and the series went on to become a best-seller with over a million copies sold in the UK since 1998.
